The Fish for Health Research Nucleus was present at the opening ceremony of the 21st edition of the National Fish Week Campaign, on September 2nd, which took place at the CEAGESP Gastronomic Festivals restaurant, in Vila Leopoldina, São Paulo.
Fish Week takes place from September 1st to 15th, with the aim of promoting the trade and consumption of fish, in addition to supporting the fishing sector.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, André de Paula; CEO of Ceagesp, José Lourenço Pechtoll; representatives of the campaign coordination, Altemir Gregolin, Roberto Imai, André Medeiros and Juliana Galvão; general director of IP, Cristiane Neiva; vice-director of IP, Eduardo Ferraz; representatives of the team of the Fish for Health Research Nucleus (partnership between USP and IP), Thais Moron and Jéssica Levy; and of Apta Hub, Sergio Tutui; among other guests.
After dinner, everyone present visited the SP Fish Warehouse area, led by the president of the Association of Wholesale Fish Traders in the State of São Paulo, Jiro Yamada; and Roberto Imai.
